Landing gear load factor versus aircraft size

Based on my memory, there is a bibliographic reference containing a list of the landing gear load factors for several aircraft, ranging from small ones like the Piper Comanche to the big transport planes like the DC-10.

Could you please help me to find out which book/article/report I can find the data referred above?

2 is a pretty good number.

it'll have less to do with size, more to do with type ... reaction factor for a navy carrier plane is much higher than a transport, but most transports will be very much the same (as their descent rate, 10 fps, is the same).

thinking about it are you talking about reaction factor (lambda) as i've assumed, or the airplane's ground load (to be compared with the airport's bearing strength (CBR) ?
