Just out of curiousity, may I know what is the temperature of a high pressure condensate (say 150psig). I would like to estimate the expansion of the condensate pipe handling the riser condensate drip of the 150 high pressure steam. I know that when the condensate passes thru the trap (if full pressure differential), it might reduce it to a 0psig condensate...but how does this whole thing work...plzzz

As any steam table will tell you: Temp. of saturated steam at 150 PSIG is 400 deg F

What steam table are you using ?

150 psig ~ 165 psia

Saturation is 373F

Ups

You are right my appologies (made a mistake tranlating psi to bar)
