ISO and UTE

We need to ship some electrical driven pump to Tunesia. As a standard these pumps are manufactured/tested accroding to ISO9906/2a. However we've been told that french regulations UTE and CPC apply. Does someone know the difference between the this ISO and corresponding French regulations. I already tried the agencies but somehow they don't seem to know anything about eachother.
