I am using MCAD Prime 3.1 at work. I have a couple of issues with it so far. (I have lots of experience with MathCAD prior to PTC, and still run that for my own business.)

1) When I copy/paste an image from word or drag and drop it into the MCAD file, it won't let me save the file after that. I get "The File Type is not supported" and it points me to a log file (which I can't access because my company has the computers locked down pretty tight). I delete the image from the worksheet, and it saves fine, so that seems to be the only issue.

2) I tried using Right Click -> Insert Image, and all I get is the button for 'browse image', even after selecting a file in the drop down.

I searched the PTC community archive, but they didn't have anything discussing this issue.

If I can't even put basic images in my worksheets, this is less than useless and I'll just go back to using MS equation editor and using a calculator.

Thanks for any help.

This might be a problem specific to Prime 3.1 or maybe something is wrong with your installation.

I'm running Mathcad Prime 3.0. I can copy/paste an image into the file and save it without any issues. I can also insert an image by selecting "Insert Image" and then clicking the "Browse for Image..." button and selecting the image that way.
