A long-standing industry problem is the accumulation of foreign material (carbon from neolube and iron fillings all of which are radioactive) inside a .198 inch id stainless steel tube. I have been instructed to find a new solvent to remove theses deposits. Currently I am using isopropyl alcohol. I need a solvent that is SS, people, and environment friendly (no hazardous waste issues).
