Hey all,
Looking at what codes we will need to update for our states adoption of the 2009 IBC. I have found that we have all of the major codes already except for ACI 318-08. With ACI 318-11 set to release sometime this year we are unsure of whether to purchase 08 now or wait for 11 this summer. My question is, since the 2009 IBC (which will be our state mandated code upon adoption) references ACI 318-08 is there any reason to purchase 11? Same thing applies to ASCE 7-10.
