Delrin to my knowledge is not weldable.  It is a wood like material non-metalic.

Delrin is not wood like.&nbsp;&nbsp;It's plastic.&nbsp;&nbsp;Exposure to ultra-violet is not that recommended because it breaks down after some time.&nbsp;&nbsp;There's a table in RS components catalogue that provides some rough comparisons between plastics (<A HREF="

Delrin is weldable by certain methods and only with certain grades of Delrin.&nbsp;&nbsp;Consider using Ultrasonic welding, hot plate welding and chemical bonding.&nbsp;&nbsp;Go to Duponts website (<A HREF="

A word of warning on Delrin.&nbsp;&nbsp;It is very sensitive to high concentrations of Ozone, this actually erodes the material and breaks it down.&nbsp;&nbsp;This was identified by a friend who used it in a special nozzle and spent months wondering how the liner did a disappearing act.&nbsp;&nbsp;He suspected sabotage untril he noticed the erosion and further testing proved that it actually completely disolved during use.
