What is the calibration validity for the PSVs used in hydro test? As per Saudi Aramco procedure (SAES-A-004) it is 2 weeks for new construction projects & 3 months for maintenance operations.

Such criteria is mentioned in any international standard? Find attached procedure snap shot

You need to provide the rest of the document for the question to make any sense.

The extract provided by you appears to be for the hydrostatic testing of the pipeline/system/vessel and the frequency of testing the PRV's to be used for such a test.

These PRV's are to be tested at least 2 weeks before hydrotest of new construction or at least 3 months for maintenance work.

Per ISO-4126, only the term Safety Valve is used regardless of application or design.

It should be re-calibrated after every hydro-test. In any case you need to provide the calibration certificate of the PSV in each and every hydro-test package.

Why would the inspector agree to a PSV which has not been bench tested within a week? Anyway, Shell DEP leaves it to the PRINCIPAL (owner). If the client agrees for a PSV that has been tested six months back, then wow !!!
