I have some questions about periodic boundary(PBC) condition that is used in FEM.
1. How to add PBC condition in the model? this is a model named PBC to add shear condition.
The case for up and down boundary as figures, named UP and DWON.

2. What do we need to consider when the inside of model includes many random defects?
3. What the different between homogeneous boundary condition and periodic boundary condition?
