My first post, hello all!

I'm not able to map a texture on one face cube correctly. All six faces has the whole texture on it. Can we apply a texture on one face at the time ?
Can someone post a step by step howto.

Thank you.

Hi syncmaster,
Open the assembly file then follow these steps -
Go to Applications > Explode-Render-Animate
If you dont already have the textured face style you will have to create it.
To do this use Format > Style
Then in the Style Type box select Faces Styles and click New.
This will bring up a new form where you can set all the parameters for the new textured style. Give the new style an appropriate name.
When you have set these parameters, clock OK then Close.
Then go to Format > Part Painter
Click the part you are going to apply the texture to.
Under the Style drop-down you should see your new style.
Select it.
In the Select drop-down click the Face option.
Now just click the face(s) you want to apply the texture to.
To see the texture you will have to set the view to show them using Format > View, or render the area/scene.

If you don't have Explode-Render-Animate you can use Part Painter in the part file to apply the texture to the required faces.

Thank you very much! Never add to use style option until now.
