How to change langauge?

Hi everyone,

I am using Algor V17. I would like to know , how to change the langauge's Icon from German to English.

Please give me a suggestion.

Why don't you contact the folks at Algor.

The language used by ALGOR is determined solely by the locale that you are running Windows in, i.e. what you have set in Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options.

We are seriously considering an override for this at V18.

I received just recently a very well laid out html email (from my account manager) that referred to the internationalized version of V17. It stated that you could change the language of the program to suite the client. Did I miss something here?

Yes, one can just change the locale settings via the Regional and Language Options Control Panel. T

Or are you saying that you want to have your locale be in German, say, and ALGOR menus to be in English or French? If that is your request, I am curious to know why someone would want MS Office and Windows to be in one locale while ALGOR is in another.

I read it as if a client from South America came to my office, I could change the language at the results page so that the client could see the results in his native language.

if is possible that I may have misunderstood the email.

Hello All,

First, I would like to thank everybody here. I also tried with the Regional and Language Options , but it didn't work.

I known the reason, why the langauge was changed.
I installed Algor V17, everything was ok, and then I updated Algor. After I updated Algor, the langauge was changed automatically to German langauge.

Obviously that should not have happened. You should try updating again to make sure that you have a complete installation. If it still erroneously puts your menus in German, you should contact ALGOR support ASAP.
