How to apply the nodal force in workbench?

Actually, I have to apply the force on washer area but I am unable to apply it as it is on the same face.One way I am having is to take "Cutout "(Remove the small amount of material and separate the face Or add the material to separate the face.So I am thinking to apply the force on node.
