history tree not visible

hi,

I am fairly new to CATIA. Whenever i open a file I find that the history tree is not visible.

How can restore it?

F3 key toggles the tree on an off.

It actually sticks in my mind the first time I learned to toggle the tree on/off. I walked around for about two days muttering to myself...

"F3 HIDES THE TREE, F3 HIDES THE TREE, F3 HIDES THE TREE"
