I'm taking master degree, on local poore pressure in triaxial testing. To do this i make holes in rubber membrane and use probes. The problem that i have is to find liquid latex that can be used to seel the potential holes around probes, and seel holes after finished test to spare on membranes because i'm going to do meny tests. Is there anyone that can help me with this problem? Do you know where i can order this kind of latex.

If you Google Liquid+Latex, you get some interesting results. Not sure they fit what you are trying to do.

I played around with something similar to this doing some research a few years ago. We settled on manufacturing latex membranes with "nipples" into which probes were inserted. A small O-ring was used to hold the nipple on the probe (similar to the conventional method for holding membranes on Tx caps--just much smaller). The "nippled" membranes are then very re-usable.

I played with liquid latex--never really worked well. Could never get a good quality product--always bubbles, weak points, leaks, etc. After a few trials, came up with the above and it worked nicely.
