Hi friends. I have been asked to make a model for a trabecular bone in ABAQUS. I am planning to build that model using numerous unit cells. To build that unit cell, I require to connect two hexagonal shapes constructed from beam elements. Please, anyone can help me with the connection process in ABAQUS? Sincerely, see attached image.

How many unit cells are you planning? Depending on the answer either brute force or with scripts will likely be the answer.

Also, what is the purpose of the model? There are codes and resources out there that you could have real trabecular bone geometry in your model.

PS: Next time use a more catchy title. The only reason I clicked was because your name said 'biomech'
