I need all the key dimensions for Figure 1502 hammer unions from 2-4inch. I know this is not an organizational standard (e.g. API, ASTM, etc), but there is an industrial standard (thus the whole Fig system start by one company) which all the manufacturers comply to so that the fig. 1502 female from company A will mate perfectly with fig. 1502 male from company B. My company is not in the business of designing or even selling hammer unions, but there is often-enough a requirement to adapt a hammer union female stub to one of the tools we design and we need to use certain materials that are not off-the shelf from dealers and welding sometimes not ideal. I need the details (diameters, angles, thread, surface finishes, etc) so that I can include them into the machined components. Can anyone here share this information with me?

Good luck. I would suggest buying the unions from weco, and "Designing a product which is interchangeable with the OEM". Not all unions are interchangeable, once you reach 3"/4".

Metootoo,

Were you able to find any reputable sources for OEM interchangeable dimensions on the Fig1502 hammer Union? I am in the same position as you; I am willing to purchase specifications if anyone knows of their existence, other than that the profile of the sealing surface on the 1502 male would be just fine.

Thanks.
