I briefly saw a very good reference book on the combustion properties of Methane/Oxygen and Hydrogen/Oxygen. This had values for peak combustion pressure for various pre-igniton pressures and mixtures.

This is very relevant to the work I do so I would greatly appreciate any help on this.

Thanks,
Speedy

Have you reviewed "NORTH AMERICAN COMBUSTION HANDBOOK VOLUME 1"
ISBN 0-9601596-2-2

I currently have the THIRD EDITION. I do not know the lastest edition available.

Good reference book!

STYMIEDPIPER,

Thanks for that. I have contacted the company and I am waiting for a reply.

I also see on Amazon that there is a Vol 2.
How is this different to Vol 1?

Cheers,
Speedy

The North American Combustion Handbook has value for use in industrial heating (steel, refining, incineration, steam generation). Volume I is the original and more valuable of the two. These books are not applicable for internal combustion engines as I interpret your question.
