The full-round blend may be achieved by using 2 rounds.
I've just been trying this on V19 and it worked fine on a straight section.
The steps I used were:-
Create a keypoint curve that bisects the face to be removed, running in the same direction as the round.
Now with the round command blend option select 2 of the faces and enter a rad value that will not overlap the keypoint curve.
Next click the "Overflow" button (the one before Preview).
Then click the "Tangent Hold Line" button (2nd after Preview)
Now click on the keypoint curve.
Then select the "Full Rad" button (last icon) and then the green tick.
Now you can Preview and finish.

Repeat for the other side.
