I am extruding text into the face of a part using the text sketch entity command. It seems that the text does not change when I switch from standard to bold. Anyone know why? I do get a change if I switch from standard to italics.

I am using arial narrow font if that makes any difference.

Thanks,

Kevin

I believe it's because some fonts don't have italics or bold types to them. Maybe try out plain arial or other simple fonts and see if those work? I've had success with some fonts before.

It seems they Always show the worst letters for fonts AaBbCcYy etc. why not show the letters people care about so cap I doesn't look like l.

I got sick of searching for Fonts so I made a simple Word file called Fonts_Tabled that I can use to track down fonts with.

It's a lot easier to look at then it is to open the font setting in CAD make a change and go back and forth.

Remember that you need to select the Points Radio button to select # pixels height is the default.
