FactoryTalk Question Marks?

In FactoryTalk when a text string with a tag has an error a bunch of question marks show up.
I was wondering if there was a way to display a specific text instead of automatic question marks?

If there is no 'STRING' type data defined in the connection then '????....' is displayed. If the STRING tag is empty, then it will simply display blanks, so there is apparently no 'STRING' tag in the location you have defined. If you want it to function differently then you would probably have to edit the object in VBA.
