electrical balance system

Hello Guys,
please i need help, i have a balance " Commander-N CE care weighting system" with it's printer inside a panel,
my question is:
- wich type of the signal sent from the weighting cells board to the printer ?.
- i have the length of the cable about 8 meters with cable section of 4x0.35 mm2, and i want to use a longer cable of about 16 meters. what should i do ?

- is there any technical data sheet or manual for the electrical connection and so on..
