Hi,
I have been using Engineering Equation Solver for my dissertation, but the academic version supplied by my University always seems to be expired. Can anybody help me find a site I can download the academic version from?
Secondly, does anybody know what the typical isentropic efficiency of a large Howden pump used for an ice making plant at a mine. The mine has closed down and Howden South Africa no longer deals with pumps. It was a screw pump with an electric power rating of 1350 kW, used to produce 1000 tons of ice per day.
