For some reason I can't do edit a dimension of a part by using a math operator i.e: 36-12

where 36 was original lenth and just add -12 after the value in the dialogue box.

Is this a 2008 bug or a setting I have missed.

Someone else had this problem just recently;

Solution was to re-install.

I havent contacted them, talking about instalation problems over the phone is so tedious, especially if the final recomendation is to do a reinstall. That I can and usually will do anyways.
I just finished the new install, with what I believe was ideal conditions. The dimensioning issue is still there, I dont believe that it is an "istallation" issue.

After discussing this with our VAR it seems that it may be a probelm with a visula basic DLL, not associated with the SW install. They are looking into it.
