Dimension spacing

Looking through Y14.5-2009, in figure 7.2.1.2, the 50 and the 44 dimension have plus/minus tolerances. It appears as if the tolerance is applied immediately after the dimensions with no space. I know for a repetitive dimension you put the number of places followed by an 'X' and then a space before the dimensions (5X ). Is there someplace in the standard , or another standard, to define how the tolerance is positioned after the dimension? Space (32 tolerance) or no space (32tolerance).

You mean fig. 7-3.
The ASME Y14.5-2009 standard doesn't specify the use of spaces, apart from the two different uses of X (as number of places or "by"), to differentiate between them.
 
I have to correct myself and say that there is another specification that defines that spaces should not be used between the diameter or radius symbol and the dimension value, but this rule is not always followed by the figures within the standard. An example where the rule is followed is fig. 4-28 (no space before the 7.0 value). Counter-examples are diameter 6 in fig. 4-45 and 4-46.
