DC arc-flash

Has anyone looked into the possibility of DC arc-flash in substation control systems? Specifically I am looking at the DC panel, and let through energy available if we remove the main DC breaker instaneious trip.

The 2012 edition of NFPA 70E has an equation for calculating approximate dc arc-flash. There is definitely some hazard at 125 V dc. The results of the calculations are lower than I would have guessed, however.
