Just wondering if anyone out there knows if there is a handbook or standard for mechanical design of air flow dampers. Louver dsmpers, Guillotine Dampers, Butterfly dampers, etc.

Any information that someone on this forum could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank for your help. I was actually wondering if there were any guidelines or standards for mechanical design.

flexy,

There might be something of value in some of the AMCA standards, particularly AMCA 501. Check the publications at
Alternatively, ASHRAE may have something.

Good luck.
