Hi all,

Is there any restrictions on drawing strips in SAFE, does it depends on Geometry on loading and size, For example if i had a strip footing with walls and columns on, is preferable to read finite result than strip design moment and design? and what is the difference between middle and column strips when dealing with spread footing.

In my opinion, u can have strip of any size/ geometry. During designing the rebar are being evaluated & distributed as per average moment capacity of the section, so the layout of strips should be logical otherwise u would have very illogical results.
