Does anyone know of a software/utlity that will output cpu history or average cpu usage over an extended timeframe to a file. I am doing a great deal of benchmarks, and one thing I would like to include is the average % cpu usage for each run (couple of hours per run). I would even be happy if I could output some graph or table. Any method that allows retreival of data or graphics representing cpu history over time. It could be either of the whole system, or by thread (would prefer overall cpu usage). One other issue, I am running on a windows64 bit box.

Finally, since we are on the subject, has anyone seen a remote task manager that will install on a 32 bit windows box and allow the standard task manager monitoring of a 32 bit system? We use RTM 3.7.2 from ntutility.com/rtm, but it will not install on 64bit systems.

ny ideas would be greatly appreciated, as I have not had any luck on the net.

Well, just to close this one out, there is a great utility that comes with windows, called performance monitor, that did just what I wanted. From the command prompt you can type perfmon and it brings up the interface.

Performance monitor is also available in Control Panel|Admin tools

Good Luck
