Hi All,
I have a boiler plantroom with a boiler using 18GJ/h of natural gas. What i want to do is work out a diesel equivalent assuming the efficiency of the boiler is unaltered from running on diesel as the burner fuel (its a dual fuel burner).
My question. Is this a simple case of just multiplying by 1000 (to MW conversion) and then dividing by the HHV of diesel (38.7MJ/l) to find the flowrate? (l/h).
