Hi,
Is there any software out there that will model honeycomb panels under various loading and support conditions? The application is for avionics shelves on aircraft.
Ex: A shelf with given dimensions has 3 black boxes of different weights and sizes. 2 edges of the shelf are simply supported, one free, and the last one is clamped.
We are looking for something not quite in the high-end FEA range. Freeware, Shareware, or modestly priced would be best.
