Column in SAP2000

How do I analyze a column like truss?
I tested the main lines with the total length and the bracing connected to the main lines but the calculation exceeds the capacity ratio
However, I see many structures with these sections and I decided to try dividing the column into several sections in which the bracings coincide and the calculation does not exceed the capacity ratio, then what is the best methodology?

You need to understand how the program is doing the code check. What unbraced length is it using to come up with the code check? vs What unbraced length SHOULD it be using (based on your engineering judgment)? You can set the unbraced lengths yourself, so either method of analyzing it should work.
