Does anyone know how to make this work in a windows
directory like it does on a web page. It works at
home for me but not here at work...the IT guys are
stumped...

Are you talking about using the mouse wheel to scroll down the window in Explorer?

Well yes, the center click 4 axis cursor that works on web pages and excel and word doesn't work in explorer dir's.
It's a Logitech driver thing. Just found out on another forum.
No worky on a MS mouse.....dang.....

FYI the MS mouse works with Logitech drivers. Autoscroll
works, unfortunatly the older Logitech mouse doesn't work
on this desk. It's too reflective and I despise mousepads.
Oh well....It's mouseware Ver 9.41.1...

To get over the reflective problem I used to tape a piece of paper on the area where I used the mouse.
