Hello out there! Hoping to get some peer feedback regarding a 300 series steel spring. Specifically, this piece looks like a 7 mm wide donut with a 75 degree bite taken from it. The inner diameter is 6 mm. I need about 50 C hardness. I am prototyping some window hardware and I must find about 100 of them. Firstly, what are these called? I've heard C-rings, lock washers, and snap rings. MSC, McMaster, didn't seem to have them, though I do have a query pending. Does this sound like a custom job to you or can I buy them off the shelf? Thanks so much for your time and efforts!!! This site is amazing.

Sincerely,

SpringMan(in training)

The truarc products are not a constant cross section, like a donut would have had... I did find what i was looking for. For those interested i was describing a constant section retaining ring. Go to www. arconring.com... Thanks for your time everybody!
