Hi,
How many degrees does a car roll while cornering hard? I know its not a lot and it varies from car to car. For instance, a production saloon, a rally car and an F1 car, any ideas?

Production car, at around 0.8-0.9 g, will be using most of 80mm jounce and rebound, so call it 160 mm in 1600 mm track- 6 degrees

F1 car, say around 1/2 degree, with half of that coming from the tyres. This would be most probably max roll experienced.

By saloon Im thinking big heavy sport cars, id say around 4 to 5 deg/g which is on the firm side of things.

Rally cars would depend, they seem very heavily sprung in roll on the tarmac stages, and in the rough rally's you can see a little roll.
