I am in the process of installing new sulfuric acid piping and storage system in a alumina production plant, and I would appreciate any guidance on material selection and the best pump to overcome a head of 50 feet, the ambient temp is about 40C.

B8K!

In our sulphuric acid plant we used to have centrifugal pumps made up of CF8M and with carbon steel piping.

Truth: Even the hardest of the problems will have atleast one simple solution. Mine may not be one.

Check some of the mfr's - GIW Industries has a white iron T90 that works in high corrosion applications

let THEM do the pump selection work for you!! Keep the wheels on the ground
