Appliance Design conferences

I am a Project Engineer in a field similar to appliances.

I would like to tap into the technology of small appliances to increase my experience in my respective field.

I would like to attend a conferece or seminar on appliances to get a feel of design intent, etc...

Could somebody point me in the right direction?
