Can anyone help me find an Algor V18 users manual or book? I just purchased the program and found that to get the manual one would need to sign up for a training seminar with Algor. I noticed a few books on Amazon.com but they appear to be for V14 or older versions. Thanks,

Phil

V18 is pretty new. I can't imagine a book being out on this, yet, so Algor should be the source. Are the help files insufficient? I haven't looked at them in a while, but they had improved dramatically last time I checked. (of course, improved dramatically over the horrible state they used to be in - V.12...UUUUGGGGHHHH). Otherwise, post here and we'll see if we can help.

I used to be an Algor employee and I know for a fact that you can buy the manuals. They are a mediocre source of information in most cases. Not sure what they cost but I'm positive your sales person could tell you. I would run through the examples within the help depending on which analysis type you are trying to do. If you really get stumped send service@algor.com an email asking your question. Be sure to state your license number. Even if you don't pay for support the AE's there are typically pretty good about replying to customer questions. Try yourself first...ask questions as a last resort. The interface is pretty straightforward to use. You can always post here and I'm sure there's a myriad of people who will help you out if possible...myself included.

Good luck,
-Brian
