Adding failure strain to simulation 1

hello everyone ,i want to simulate a compression test to get stress strain results.
i want to add failure strain to model but i don't see any option in property menu.my model keeps deforming and i can't see a failure (job aborts with error )
Also an example of this procedure is very helpful

Abaqus offers multiple failure criteria for various materials and scenarios. In this case you will most likely have to use Mechanical --> Damage for Ductile Metals --> Ductile Damage. There you can specify both damage initiation and evolution. With element removal active and STATUS variable requested, failed elements will be deleted from mesh affecting visualization of results.
