Feb 19, 2010 #4 bridgebuster Active member Jun 27, 1999 3,969 I've always reduced the forces and moments rather than the reduce the bearing pressure. It's the same thing but it's cleaner that way. Stability - you're allowed to reduce the FS for seismic. Upvote 0 Downvote
