I have a work coworker who has an odd problem printing several different spreadsheet based forms. When he opens one of the problem forms to print it, Excel indicates that it will take two pages to print the form. When I open the same form, from the same location, Excel indicates that it will take one page to print the form.

This occurs no matter what printer is selected, including a PDF printer.

To trouble shoot, I have had him uninstall and reinstall the main (default) printer. This had no affect. I have also looked at the scale settings on both his and my computer. For the form causing the most trouble, it is scaled to print on one page at 105% on my computer. However, on his computer (with the same printer selected) at 105% Excel prints the form on 2 pages.

For the cases we have checked, Excel extends the printing horizontally (not vertically).

Thanks for your help.

Agreed, however for the trouble shooting I was using a blank form stored on the server. Both computers were loading the same excel file, no changes to the form were made, i.e. we were just printing the blank form. Under these circumstances, I don't see how it could be fonts.

Nonetheless, when I have the default font in a blank worksheet, Print Preview claims 38 rows per page, but using Andalus, Print Preview shows 44 rows per page.

Did you BOTH reinstall the default printer?

His printer settings probably different allowable margins than yours. I would check that first.
