Silicone has a good resistance to oils but a poor resistance to fuels. Check out the likelyhood of any fuels coming into contact with the hose. Also be aware that Silicon has a poor physical strength compared to other hose materials.

Can't say I've seen this before, but the screen does sometimes go blank in the graphic area, but the pointer can still pick out the features and dimensions. Could be a graphics card problem.

We have a 10kNm horizontal torsional test machine. The twin vane hydraulic rotary actuator is making some disturbing noises. I was directed to Hyd-ro-ac, via a reply to an earlier thread of mine and downloaded their engineering data which was helpful in understanding its workings.
