I would like to stop NX from automatically change to perspective projection when I change from SHADED WITH EDGES to STUDIO rendering style.
I can't find it in the forum or customer defaults
Any ideas ?

I am wondering where the details are...
When I click on any feature in the part navigator, like "extrude", "hole", the details tab shows the parameters(start limit, end limit, diameter).
But, if I click on a sketch, nothing is shown in the details tab. This used to be the case in earlier...
I have two HP 30 " monitors for use with NX (1953 at the moment).
I would like to upgrade since the oldest one is from 2007 and, even if both are HP, I can't get the dispay settings the same (contrast, colortemp, the like).
Now I have the option of replacing both monitors at the same time with...
Turning off Assembly Cross Hatching when creating an assembly drawing seems not logical. Also, turning off this option did not solve the problem.
But your suggestion put me on the right track.
The trick is unchecking "Process Hidden Crosshatch". Attached file from NX 1926.

It seems to be file specific, not sure why.
In some parts the crosshatch options are grayed out, in other parts they are not.

Hi all,
I have a question about my crosshatch settings, see attached image.
The "Crosshatch definition" and "Pattern" options are grayed out.
I cant't find a setting in the customer defaults or preferences to correct this.
I changed the file permissions for xhatch.chx in the UGII folder to...

This looks rather morphed. Is it a scanned model ?
To me it seems one would use freeform modelling combined with sheet metal.
I'll give it a try.

PrintScaffold, that's not a roll formed cylinder. Roll forming is creating a cylinder by roll forming a flat sheet.
That feature is not available in NX, http://www.eng-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=318888.

Bwsh uses a method I like, although the cylinder option is my favorite.
As John hinted before, how can this be done in sheet metal ?
I know it is not possible to roll form a cylinder from sheet (not in NX9 that is).

In case you cannot open a NX9 part, here's a picture.

I am not sure if the move edge command is available in NX7.5, but in NX9 it does the job.
I am the kind of guy that always likes to minimize the number of features, so this one is my kind of thing.
No curves or projections, just sketches and features.

I have an assembly, containing about 40 parts.
Each part has it's own drawing file attached via the master-model aproach.
Is there a way to open all the drawing parts at once (just like all the parts are opened ) when opening the assembly ?
So opening assembly results in opening part1, part2 and...
