Its supposed to be programs by Caltrans. But I cant seem to find it in their website. XSection is a RC cross section analysis (interaction diagram & moment-curvature). Wframe is a pushover analysis program.

I've been involved in the seismic industry for quite a bit, hence the handle, Qshake, but I've never heard the programs you've mentioned.

I do know of others that accomplish the same thing.

Anyway, my never heard of them isn't worth anything. The programs could be very new.

Back in the day, some of Caltrans' programs were proprietary and we ran some of them on the mainframe. It looks like many have been upgraded to PC versions. I don't know about the proprietary part, though.

Look at the link below. You will find the name and phone number of the guy "responsible" for the those programs (coincidentally, the same person).

Thank you to all who responded. You are all very helpful. Do you have any idea how much are the programs?

Xsection and WFrame are old (very old) DOS programs for section moment/curvature analysis and for simplified pushover analysis. They belong to former Caltrans engineer Mark ?? (cannot remember the last name). At the time when these program appeared (1992-93) there were no many alternatives, now you can find a number of commercial application doing similar job.
