Dears ,

we have one project and they need wrapping tape . the material we have is Butelyen PE/RUBBER with 0.8 mm thickness , but the specs of the project is called fro PVC Butmen type thickness 1.1 mm ! So how can i approach the client to approve my tape and from your point of view which type is better fro pipe corrosion .

The question you should be asking of yourselves is why you don't have the tape that the customer requested. If the spec calls for that then that is what your offer should have been based on. You could have offered the other tape as an alternate if there is a good reason to do so , and then allow your client to decide. It is their decision.

assuming the pipe is underground, PE sheets or bags are generally used, not tape. but Ashtree hit the critical issue which is that the engineer of record should be making the decision. If you don't have an idea why your product is better than I don't know how you will ever convince the engineer to change the specifications.
