Good day to all.

Can anyone please advise on SBS elastomer waterproofing. We are doing a mall with water features. Below it are high-end tenants. The water feature has jets that constantly move and we are worried that tenant areas below might get wet.

What's the difference between SBS and modified SBS in layman's terms? Packaging/application/Brand names please?

Thank you very much.

God bless,

ding

Kraton D is the brand name of SBS from Kraton Polymers LLC (a former division of Shell). This is a common man-made elastomer. Here is a place to look for information:

In layman's terms, the differences between SBS and modified SBS would be minor chemistry/microstructure changes that impart slightly different final properties.

Cory
