Gents,
in the national board code it says that when welding on a coded vessel which is "OF ROUTINE NATURE" is performed, the R-1 requirements are waived. Does the repair of a seal welded tray on a contactor fit this? We have a chimney tray with a possible bad seal weld, do we need an "R" stamped company to perform this repair?
