Dear All,
I have a Pipe which is need additional weld on Capping, Please see attached drawing(sorry for manual, I do not have autocad on my comp.)
Client request for welding based on drawing which is they sent for me, this is for structure so I assume AWS D1.1, After check with the code I couldn't get clause mention about it, So I confused how i can run PQR ? Now I try to run simulation to get the dimension like :
Layer 1 : V = 32-33 A = 600-640 TS = 600-640
Layer 2 : V = 29-30 A = 600-640 TS = 600-640
Layer 3 : V = 26-27 A = 600-640 TS = 600-640
Layer 4 : V = 24-25 A = 600-640 TS = 600-640
I succed to get the Heigh and width oh the weld bead now my question :
1. For Structural what code i need refer to ? since AWS D1.1 not mention about weld bead? confused what testing i need for it ?
2. If me have existing PQR so Can I use only for Capping Parameter for it ? I know this is fool question but i need the answer ?
