Hello,
I am running Inventor 2009 on a Dell Precision T5400, Inten Zeon X5450 @3.9GHz with 3.25GB of RAM. My current video card is an NVIDIA Quadro FX570. I have been experiencing some issues with larger assemblies that my reseller has said were video related and recomended that I upgrade my video card, although they would not give me any specific cards to use. Can any one recomend an upgrade in the mid-price range, preferably an NVIDIA product.
Thanks

For midrange I'd highly recommend the Nvidia Quadro FX1800

Are you running OpenGL or Direct3d?? Try switching to the other and see if it helps before spending money on a new card. Also try different drivers. (newer driver is not always better)

Yes, I have tried both and different drivers. Direct3D seems to work better. Also it's a 32Bit machine. Most of the issues were with large assemblies that have a lot of imported Mechanical Desktop files and Autocad solids. My VAR sees no issue with the assemblies themselves and focused on the Video Card.
Thanks for the input.

I agree with the VAR and the Recommendation by McG but I decided to wait and suffer a little longer and go with 64 bit. The RAM thing on 32 bit is a bummer esp. with multi monitors.
