Unigraphics vs. I-DEAS

Does anyone know the expected future of the two CAD packages I-DEAS and Unigraphics? I understand their joint association with EDS and have heard that the two packages are likely to become one package.

From what I have heard.

UG will release NX2 (2003) and NX3 (2004).
Ideas has just released 10NX and will release 11NX (2004).

Each of these releases brings more cross pollination of the features into both packages.

After these releases, there will be a renaming of the united single release: Unigraphics Master Series.
UG-MS V1 should be released in mid-2005. Ben Loosli
