I have some particle size data that I need to plot on a graph (It is basic particle size data : clay, silt etc, no true sieve sizes). After I have my multiple curves would it be right to work out the uniformity coefficient (Cu) and curvature coefficient (Cc) from the large data set (e.g. lower and upper bounds of 20 curves) or can it only be done on one? Work it out based on the material

eg give a range for the silty SAND material, a range for SAND, a range for sandy Gravel, gravelly SILT etc.

You can give an upper bound range but its of little help if the material is different.

If you have a hydrometer, get the time readings and figure out all the various sizes.
